The National Carpet Cleaners Association annual day out for professional carpet cleaners took place at Wicksteed Park near Kettering today. Luckily the planning allowed for the potential poor weather we often experience in this green and pleasant land and most of the event was able to be held in doors. It was a good call as the weather was lousy!!

My talk on “Cleaning Wool Carpets”

Despite the weather, the event was well attended. All the major industry suppliers were present with stands highlighting their product ranges. There were seminars on various topics of interest to the true professional and there was the opportunity to catch up with old friends and colleagues.

Unfortunately, other than delivering my own seminar, I was unable to attend some of the others, but I did have the chance to chat with many friends. A good day after all, despite the weather!!
